The two day Iowa High School Boys State Swimming meet gets underway today at the University of Iowa Campus Recreation & Wellness Center.
Hempstead, which won their second consecutive district championship last weekend, has 21 swims competing. Senior will be represented in 12 events.
Prelim events start at 5 this evening; the finals in all events are Saturday starting at 12:30.
