The first major winter storm of the season will be impacting the Tri-State area today and tonight with heavy snow at times in the forecast with a total of 4 to 6 inches and some locally higher amounts possible by the time the storm pulls out of the region. A Winter Storm Warning is in effect until early Thursday morning for the entire area. You should plan on slippery road conditions if you have to travel.
