- Wahlert’s Eve Skrocki claimed the Class 1A 145 pound state championship last night at the Iowa Girls State Wrestling Tournament at Xtreme Arena in Coralville. Skroki defeated top seed Anastasia Simon of Decorah 8-7.
- Hempstead’s Bella Miller finished 3rd at 135 in Class 2A.
- Western Dubuque’s Elli Casey (100) and Ava Pfab (170) won seventh-place matches and Hempstead’s Ayla Osterkamp (145) finished in eighth place.

DUBUQUE, IA – The Dubuque Fighting Saints (29-11-0-1, 59 pts) scored two power-play goals to spur a 3-2 victory over the Waterloo Black Hawks. Dubuque returns to the ice tonight at Madison.
