The trial date for the former head football coach at Dubuque Senior High School charged with first degree theft-embezzlement has been moved to later this year.
40-year old Darrell Moore who previously served as the president of the now dissolved Dubuque Independent Football League has pled not guilty to the charges. His trial date was scheduled to begin next week, but has been moved to June 10th in Dubuque County District Court.
Moore is accused of misappropriating over $47-thousand dollars in funds from the former league from approximately November 2020 until the league folded in 2023, he was arrested in November.
