The Telegraph Herald reports Grand River Medical Group is being sold to an unnamed “major health care entity.
The T-H cites a letter sent to Grand River Medical Group staff which says there is a preliminary agreement with the unnamed buyer which will allow Grand River Medical Group to continue working in its current capacity while “stabilizing their business challenges. The letter also said the plan is to retain all current employees.
One year ago, Grand River Medical Group laid off 52 employees and closed their clinic in Cascade. More recently the health care provider announced plans to stop providing hospitalists to Finley Hospital and then announced it would no longer offer inpatient pediatric care at the hospital.
