A 22-year old Dubuque man has received a combined six year suspended jail sentence and ordered to serve 7 years of probation for exchanging explicit photos with a girl who was under the age of 16. Daniel Lampers pled guilty late last year in Dubuque County District Court on charges of enticing a minor under 16 for a sexual purpose and dissemination and exhibition of obscene material to minors. A third charge against Lampers was dropped in the plea agreement.
Lampers was arrested in July after investigators determined in July of 2023 he and the girl began exchanging the explicit photos and videos through SnapChat.
