Dubuque Police have arrested a man they say caused Finley Hospital to go into lockdown for just over 2 hours earlier today.
Following an investigation, police have charged 49-year-old Justin Keene of Dubuque with Threats of Terrorism.
Shortly before 11 this morning, police were notified a caller had contacted the hospital and made a threat that he would be coming to Finley to commit a violent act. The hospital was placed on lockdown until 1 o’clock with only the main entrance open and people being screened coming and going from the facility
Police say they located Keene at his home where he was taken into custody without incident.
Making a threat of terrorism is a Class D felony punishable by up to 5 years in prison if convicted.
