A Dubuque man will be going to Federal Prison for just over seven years after being found guilty of possessing and selling fentanyl pills.
39-year old Anthony Ernst was sentenced yesterday in U.S. District Court in Cedar Rapids.
Ernst was arrested in June of 2023 a few days after selling marijuana and fentanyl to a confidential informant.
Ernst must serve three years of supervised release after his prison term.
