Dubuque Man Found Guilty Of Firearm Possession By A Felon

Following a jury trial, a Dubuque man has been found guilty on federal charges of possession of a firearm by a felon.

50-year old Kenneth Moore now faces up to 15 years in prison and a 250-thousand dollar fine when he is sentenced.Kenneth Moore

The charges were filed against Moore after shots were fired during an incident in August 2023 where he reportedly got into an argument outside a home in the 24-hundred block of Stafford Street. There were no injuries.

Moore previously was charged in Dubuque County District Court with attempted murder and other charges for the incident, but the case was moved to federal court to be tried.
