A trial date for a 42-year-old Scales Mound woman who was a school employee and is accused of having a relationship with a 17-year-old student has been set.
During a hearing yesterday Alycia Deckert, who was a paraprofessional with a local school was ordered to stand trial on May 13th in Jo Daviess County Court. Deckert faces two counts of criminal sexual assault and two counts of criminal sexual abuse.
She was arrested by Jo Daviess County authorities in March 2024 following an investigation.
