A Dubuque man who led police on a high speed chase over the weekend, and escaped has been arrested and faces numerous charges.
Dubuque Police say the high speed chase with the vehicle driven by 46-year old Ricky Tuthill began shortly after midnight on Saturday morning and reached speeds of 70 miles per hour in a 25 mile per hour zone. The pursuit began in the area of Crescent Ridge and Dodge Street and continued on Crescent Ridge with Tuthill reportedly running a stop light and stop sign during the chase, and he eventually stopped and ran away.
Tuthill was arrested early Tuesday morning in the 28-hundred block of Balke Street and was taken to jail.
