Potosi Man Arrested Twice

Early Friday evening Deputies with the Grant County Sheriff’s Office were called to a residence in the Village of Potosi for a reported disturbance. After an investigation 19 year old Dayton Udelhofen of Potosi was taken into custody. Udelhofen was booked into the Grant County Jail for charges of disorderly conduct, domestic abuse related. He posted a cash bond, and was released. Following his release, Udelhofen returned to the residence where another domestic disturbance occurred. Deputies returned and took Udelhofen into custody for a second time.
Udelhofen was again taken to the Grant County Jail where he was booked for multiple charges including disorderly conduct, domestic abuse related, battery, strangulation/suffocation, and child abuse. Deputy Reports from both incidents will be referred to the Grant County District Attorney’s Office for review and a charging decision.
