A 33 year old Bellevue man suffered serious injuries and was hospitalized after being hit by a car early Thursday morning in Dubuque. Dubuque Police say Zacceri T. Montgomery was a pedestrian near the intersection of Loras Boulevard and Iowa Street just after 1am. According the police report, 22 year old Mitchell W. Heuer, of Dubuque, was driving east on Loras Boulevard through the Iowa Street intersection when Montgomery crossed the intersection heading south. He then ran back into the intersection, where Heuer hit him. Montgomery was transported by EMS to UnityPoint Health-Finley Hospital. The report says that Montgomery was under the influence of alcohol.
