(KCRG) – Delaware County Emergency Management said Alliant Energy worked to restore power to the entire town of Manchester on Christmas Day. The organization said a substation blew on W. Marion Street in Manchester.
According to Alliant Energy’s outage page, there were more than 3,000 customers without power. The company serves more than 6,000 in the entire county.
