Dubuque Museum Of Art To Relocate To Temporary Location Next Year

NEWS SM

The Dubuque Museum of Art will have a temporary location for the next two years beginning sometime next year.

Officials say while construction of the museum’s 47-thousand square foot new main campus takes place in the 700 block of Locust Street, the museum will move into the Dupaco Voices Building in the Historic Millwork District on Jackson Street. Construction of museum-quality galleries in the temporary space will start in the spring and should be ready to move into in September.

Museum leadership says the museum will stay in the temporary home through the end of 2027 when the new museum campus should be complete.
