According to the Telegraph Herald, the interim president of Northeast Iowa Community College will continue to lead the school for the next two and a half years.
During a closed session this week, the NICC board of trustees voted to extend the contract of David Dahms as interim president through June of 2027.
Dahms was appointed to the role in August after former president Herbert Riedel was placed on paid administrative leave and then had his position terminated.
