In a social media post, Wahlert Catholic junior softball all-state selection Julia Roth has announced her commitment to play softball at the University of Iowa upon graduation. In the pitching ring and with her bat, Roth has helped lead Wahlert to three consecutive state tournament appearances. Last season she hit 15 homeruns as a sophomore and has 33 in her career with two seasons yet to play.
