The trial date for one of two men charged with attempted murder in a drive by shooting in Dubuque has been set.
35-year old Michael Rogers who is charged with two counts of attempted murder and other charges related to the June 2022 incident will go on trial December 17th.
Police say Rogers was a passenger in a vehicle driven by 25-year old Tavon Baylock of Chicago who is also charged with two counts of attempted murder. Authorities say Baylock got out of his vehicle near the intersection of Central Avenue and West 23rd Street and began shooting at two other men in another vehicle. The two men were not injured.
Baylock who has pled not guilty is set to stand trial on the charges January 21st
