The Dubuque County Sheriff’s Department says one person has died and three others suffered serious and minor injuries in a one vehicle accident early this morning near Epworth.
Authorities say the accident happened shortly after midnight on Highway 20 near Hartbecke Road. The investigation shows the vehicle was traveling westbound on Highway 20, went out of control and rolled.
One of the passengers in the vehicle was pronounced dead. The driver and two other passengers were taken to the hospital. The names of the victims aren’t being released at this time. The Iowa State Patrol is handling the accident investigation.
