The Farley Police Department will be hosting a free seminar on fighting fraud. The event will be Thursday afternoon, December 12th at 1 o’clock at the Farley Memorial Hall on 1st Street Northwest.
The department is partnering with Iowa Fraud Fighters at the Iowa Insurance Division to present the seminar and will cover Consumer scams on the internet and elsewhere, Medicare Fraud, and Investment Fraud. Also on hand to answer questions will be members of the Farley Police Department, Dubuque County Sheriff’s Department and banking community.
There is no registration needed for the seminar, again the date is Thursday December 12th at 1 o’clock at Farley Memorial Hall.
