A pair of Dubuque will be receiving Historic Preservation Tax Credit funds for recent projects done.
The Roshek Brothers department store building on Main Street will receive just over $2-point-five million dollars in tax credits for conversion of the building into first-floor commercial space and 36 upper-floor apartments.
Saint Raphael Cathedral and Rectory will receive just over $1-point-eight million in tax credits for rehabilitation of parish buildings.
The Roshek Building and Saint Raphel Cathedral were two of 10 projects around the state receiving a total of more than $43-million dollars.
Projects are scored based on readiness, financing and local support and participation.
