Tomorrow evening at the Dubuque City Council meeting, Travel Dubuque will ask the City of Dubuque to approve $1 million dollars in funding for the Field of Dreams Project in Dyersville.
The request is listed on agenda for tomorrow night’s Dubuque City Council meeting, and members are expected to decide on the request.
If approved, the funding would be used for marketing purposes.
The non-profit group, Dyersville Events, has purchased the 297 acres site with plans for youth baseball/softball fields and a 3,000 seat stadium with the capacity to add more than 5,000 temporary seats.
