The Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office and Iowa State Patrol have released the names of the victims involved in a deadly S-U-V and semi collision on Thanksgiving afternoon south of Dubuque. The crash happened around one o’clock yesterday on Highway 151 at the intersection of Skyline Road.
Authorities say 64-year-old Raymond Seeley of Sterling, Illinois was driving on Skyline Road , failed to obey a stop sign, and pulled into the path of the northbound semi driven by 48-year-old William James of Amarillo, Texas.
Seeley was pronounced dead at the scene while passenger 62-year-old Deana Seeley was taken to MercyOne Medical Center in Dubuque, then airlifted to University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City where she later died. James also sustained minor injuries and was taken to MercyOne for treatment.
