The Iowa Department of Natural Resources will hold a virtual public meeting next week to give an update on statewide chronic wasting disease surveillance and management efforts in the state.
The meeting will be on Thursday, December 5th starting at 7 o’clock and a will be available virtually on Zoom. If you wish to attend you must register in advance . You can also join by calling in but will only be able to listen to the audio. The recording of the meeting will be posted on the DNR’s YouTube channel.
The DNR says as of November 19th, a total of 397 wild deer have tested positive for chronic wasting disease in 25 Iowa counties.
