A Dubuque man was arrested after leading law enforcement on a high speed chase on his motorcycle, crashing it and being taken to the hospital.
The Dubuque County Sheriff says the pursuit started around 1:15 on Friday morning in the 11-thousand block of Rupp Hollow Road.
45-year old Jeramie Doyle was charged with eluding and driving while revoked. Authorities say a deputy on patrol observed Doyle going 85 miles per hour in a 35 mile per hour zone and was unable to catch up to him, but Doyle later lost control of the cycle and crashed it. He was suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to MercyOne Medical Center before being taken back into custody.
