This afternoon the Wahlert High School football team will attempt to bring home a state high school football championship for the first time in school history and just the second state title for a Dubuque High School team.
The Golden Eagles at 12-0 will meet 11-1 Humboldt at 1 o’clock at the UNI Dome in Cedar Falls. Wahlert head coach Jamie Marshall says he’s been impressed with what he has seen from their opponent the Wildcats.
Marshall says for a Golden Eagle victory say just like every game, they have to take care of the ball.
