After nearly seven months, the South Grandview Avenue bridge over U.S. Highways 61/151 is scheduled to re-open this weekend.
The Iowa DOT has told City of Dubuque the bridge replacement project is nearing completion. The DOT anticipates the bridge will re-open to traffic by 10 tomorrow morning.
The bridge has been closed since March for a replacement project which included demolition of the previous bridge, as well as construction of a new span across the highway.
