A Dubuque man has been convicted of a number of sex crimes and will be sentenced early next year.
A Dubuque County jury recently found 64-year old Teodoro Rubio guilty on charges of second-degree sexual abuse and three counts of lascivious acts with a child.
Rubio was arrested in early 2023 after an investigation by Dubuque Police after a woman told police her 10 year old step stepdaughter was sexual abused by Rubio on numerous occasions at their home over the past four years. The woman also told authorities she was abused by him as a child.
A sentencing date for Rubio is set for January 6th.
