The appeal hearing for a Dubuque police officer contesting his September firing has been postponed until next month.
Officer Aidan Carr was fired following an incident on August 14th where Carr allegedly accidentally fired a gun into his neighbor’s house and initially lied to reporting officers about the mishap. Carr has appealed his termination before the Dubuque Civil Service Commission.
Both parties agreed to delay the hearing until December 19th.
