A Dubuque man now faces federal level charges for an incident with a gun earlier this year.
28-year old Kentrell Powell is charged in U.S. District Court with possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number.
On August 22nd, Powell was charged when Dubuque Police say he attempted to fire a weapon while he was being arrested after a reported theft and disturbance at the Casey’s General Store on Peru Road.
