The Loras women’s soccer team drew a number one seed for the NCAA D3 Women’s Soccer Tournament and will host first and second round games at the Rock Bowl this weekend.
The Duhawks(19-0) will host St. Catherine (14-2-4) in the first round of the tournament on Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Rock Bowl. Carleton (14-2-5) and UW-Superior (14-7-0) meet in the other first-round match at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, with the winners advancing to play in the regional championship match on Sunday at 3 p.m.
In the men’s tournament, the UW-Platteville men were among the at-large qualifiers. The Pioneers (13-2-3) will play North Central (10-5-5) in a first-round match at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday in Saint Peter, Minnesota. The winner will play Milwaukee School of Engineering (12-3-6) or host Gustavus Adolphus (15-1-3) in the second round at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
