A trip to the Iowa Class 3A state football semi-finals next weekend is on the line tonight as the top ranked Wahlert Golden Eagles host the Independence Mustangs. Wahlert is unbeaten at 10-0, and Independence is 8-and-2 with one of those losses to Wahlert by a touchdown in early October.
Wahlert head coach Jaime Marshall says defensively the Mustangs are solid.
