Dubuque Man Receives Federal Prison Term For Using Drugs While Possessing Firearms

A Dubuque man who possessed five firearms while being an illegal drug user has been sentenced to more than one year in federal prison.

25-year old Jesse Zeromski received the prison term after pleading guilty in May to one count of possession of a firearm by an unlawful drug user.

Zeromski admitted he unlawfully possessed five firearms while using methamphetamine, amphetamine, and cocaine. He must also serve a three-year term of supervised release after the prison term.
