At Xtreme Arena in Coralville, the Wahlert High School Volleyball team will play in the Class 3A semi-finals at the State Volleyball Tournament today. Yesterday the Golden Eagles defeated Carroll Kuemper 3-1 to move to 26-8 on the season. Wahlert meet top seed 43-4 Mount Vernon at 2pm this afternoon.
In Class 2A, Beckman Catholic will be in the semi-finals as well. The Blazers defeated South Hardin yesterday 3-0. Beckman 36-6 will match up with #2 Eddyville-Blakesburg 35-2 at 4:25 this evening.
The championship matches in both classes will be on Thursday.
