The Dubuque Regional Airport will host a celebration of the inaugural Denver Air Connection flight from Dubuque to O’Hare International Airport in Chicago on Monday at the Captain Robert L. Martin Terminal.
The event begins at 2:30 and is free and open to the public. The Denver Air Connection jet is expected to land in Dubuque from O’Hare at approximately 2:55. Its arrival will be followed by a short program featuring brief remarks from local officials and a ribbon cutting ceremony before its return flight departs for O’Hare.
A drawing for free airfare will also be held at the event. Two winners will each receive vouchers for round-trip airfare for two passengers from Dubuque to Chicago on Denver Air Connection. Entrants need not be present to win. To register, visit www.FlyDBQ.com/Giveaway
