Cassville Man Sentenced For Transporting Minors For Prostitution

GAVEL COURT

A Grant County man who drove two Dubuque teenage girls across state lines to his home and attempted to use them as prostitutes has received a federal jail sentence.

29-year old Raymond “Mo” Armour of Cassville was ordered to serve 11 years in federal prison to be followed by 20 years of supervised release. He pleaded guilty to the charges in July.

Armour was arrested in February and the girls were recovered. Dubuque Police were tipped off after a security officer at Walmart in Dubuque recognized the two girls in a missing person report who had been in the store with Armour. Police were able to use information to find Armour’s address.

Authorities say Armour took nude photos of the girls and posted them on the internet offering to sell them for sexual services. Authorities say none of the attempts were successful.
