State Boys Golf
The Wahlert High School Boys Golf team is in 2nd place following the first round of the Fall State Golf Tournament at the Briarwood Golf Club in Ankeny. The Golden Eagles shot 13 over 301 and trail Johnston by three strokes. The top first round score was turned in by Cal Martineau with a 1-over 73, tied for 7th place. Western Dubuque’s shot a 9-over and is tied for 50th.
The second and final round tees off later this morning.

- Beckman Catholic claimed the River Valley Conference North tournament title with a 3-0 victory over Anamosa. Beckman, Anamosa, Cascade, and Bellevue advance to the RVC Tournament on Thursday at Maquoketa with the top 4 teams from the South.
