A Dubuque man has been sentenced for his part in a stabbing last year.
Yesterday in Dubuque County District Court, 33-year old Lorenzo Eggleston was handed a sentence of 17-years in prison in May 2023 stabbing of Cory Jones during a disturbance in the downtown area.
Eggleston was originally charged with attempted murder, but chose to plead guilty to lesser charges of willful injury, participating in a riot, and assault with a dangerous weapon.
