A Delaware County woman who was driving a UTV in a 2021 rollover crash that killed a passenger and pled guilty to involuntary manslaughter charges will be sentenced next month.
28-year old Hanna Meese of Edgewood is scheduled to be sentenced November 19th in Delaware County District Court. Meese initially was charged with homicide by vehicle-operating while intoxicated.
The crash occurred in May of 2021 when Meese failed to maintain control while negotiating a curve and she and 32-year old Jordan Cabalka of Edgewood both were ejected. Cabalka later died of his injuries. Meese also suffered serious injuries in the accident.
