Dubuque Police say three people suffered injuries after they were struck by a vehicle and the driver was arrested.
The incident happened Friday evening around 6 o’clock on Getty Terrace. Police say a vehicle driven by 40-year old Shakari Heard of Dubuque drove into 30-year old Cleo Jones and two other people pushing them into another vehicle. The two others names were not reported. Jones was taken to MercyOne Medical Center with serious injuries; there is no word on the other two people.
Heard was arrested on two counts of willful injury causing bodily injury and one count of willful injury causing serious injury. She also face numerous other charges for the incident.
