Fourth Person Charged In Robbery Incident

Dubuque police have arrested another person in an incident where a man’s phone and wallet were allegedly taken at gunpoint earlier this year.KESHAWN MURPHY

Police say on Saturday they arrested 24-year old Keshawn Murphy on charges of first degree robbery. Murphy was taken to the Dubuque County Jail where he is being held on $100-thousand dollars bond.

Last month, three other were arrested for the incident.  23-year old Tanaveius Shropshire , 21-year old Abigail Smith and 21-year old Jakobe Jones were all charged with first degree robbery.

Murphy and the three others are accused in the hold-up 30-year old Logan Wilhelm of Preston during the early morning hours on June 30th.  Wilhelm told police he was at a downtown bar and was offered a ride home by a female later identified as Smith.  He told police she then drove him to the area of West 16th and Catherine streets where he was allegedly struck on the head and robbed at gunpoint.
