You’re being invited to the 2nd annual Autumn Adventure on Schmitt Island set for this Sunday. The event will be from 11 to 2 and is a free family event designed to celebrate the history of Schmitt Island, highlight what is currently available and showcase the future plans for the property.
Those who come to the Autumn Adventure will be able to explore different points of interest on the island and get information at a number of booths set up. There will also be guided tours available with Trolleys of Dubuque, interactive exhibits, and for the first 100 attendees, a free sightseeing cruise aboard the American Lady. Food trucks will also be available. Again Autumn Adventure will be Sunday from 11 to 2 on Schmitt Island.
