Navigating the Dangers of Human Trafficking in Social Media will be the topic of a presentation at the University of Dubuque next month.
Ray Fiedler, a U-D graduate who is the coordinator for the Iowa Office to Combat Human Trafficking with the Iowa Department of Public Safety will be giving the presentation on Tuesday evening, October 8th at 6:30 at the Charles and Romona Myers Center.
Fiedler is responsible for training public and private entities regarding human trafficking, certifying hotels related to their training and assisting agencies in investigating and sharing information in cases of human trafficking.
The event is free and open to the public.
