A Platteville man has received a prison sentenced for an assault charge in Platteville last year.
45-year old Delon Grady was given two years of jail time after being found guilty of strangulation and suffocation, substantial battery, and four counts of bail jumping.
The charges against Grady came from an incident on November 9th, 2023 in which police responded to a Platteville residence for a report of a domestic disturbance. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries suffered.
Grady will serve his sentence for the incident consecutively to that from another case for a combined five years in prison.
