A Dubuque woman has been sentenced to jail time for a stabbing which occurred last year.
21-year old Alexis Haupert was handed a three month jail sentence to be followed by two years of probation. Haupert recently pled guilty to one count of assault with intent to cause serious injury.
Haupert was charged following a fight last November 14th where she stabbed 22-year old Alexis Scovel with a box cutter several times. She initially was charged with willful injury but received the lesser charge as part of a plea deal.
