In seeking to expand services to those it serves, the Dubuque chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness or NAMI is opening a new host site in Epworth.
The site will be open at Epworth City Hall offering their programming to more rural residents.
NAMI offers a variety of peer support services for those dealing with mental health concerns. The Epworth host site is kicking off with a breakfast and learn event tomorrow morning from 9 to 10:30.
The following Saturday, the Epworth site will host a seminar with information and support for people with loved ones dealing with mental health issues. Weekly courses for families are also planned starting later in October.
