An Illinois couple was injured in motorcycle accident in northwest Illinois. The Jo Daviess County Sheriff says it happened Sunday morning at 11:40 between Galena and Hanover at the intersection of South Black Jack Road and West Beaty Hollow Road.
Authorities say the cycle operated by 65-year old Lonny Black of Sycamore, Illinois lost control on a sharp curve and both Black and his passenger 63-year old Karen Black were thrown from the cycle. Both had to be airlifted to hospital in Rockford to be treated for what were called non-life threatening injuries.
