A Dubuque man has been sentenced for his role in the violent assault on a bouncer at a Dubuque bar early this year.
22-year old Elijah Boyd was ordered to serve five years of probation after pleading guilty to one count of willful injury causing bodily injury.
Boyd was one of two men charged with assaulting 21-year old James Finn on January 14th at Mason Dixon Saloon. Finn had to be treated at an area hospital for wounds to his face following the attack.
The other man involved in the attack on Finn, 22-year old Dontae Bartmann of Dyersville was previously sentenced to two to five years of probation after pleading guilty.
