A newly created Pocket Park in Dubuque will be holding a ribbon cutting ceremony and celebration coming up tomorrow evening from 4:30 to 6:30. 897 Central Park Pocket Park is the transformation of a former gas station at 9th Street and Central Avenue into a vibrant, nature-infused public green space.
Highlights of the park include a bike path which is part of the pilot route launched this summer by Dubuque Forward and the City of Dubuque, space for food trucks, low maintenance, Super-dense planting areas, and artistic installations.
Again the ribbon cutting and celebration will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 on Thursday evening.
