Iowa State kicker and former Dubuque Senior prep Kyle Konrardy has been named the Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week.
The redshirt freshman connected on two crucial field goals in the fourth quarter in a 20-19 come-from-behind victory at Iowa on Saturday including the game-winning 54-yarder with six seconds remaining.
Iowa State is off with a bye this weekend but returns to Jack Trice Stadium against Arkansas State on Sept. 21.
